SAS has been recognized among companies that have embraced environmentally friendly and sustainable "green" practices and incorporated them into their business and in their communities. The Green For-Profit Business award from the Triangle Business Journal Green Awards was presented to SAS on Oct. 23.

SAS among 2009 InformationWeek 500 List of Top U.S. Tech Innovators
The SAS Global Client Standard Environment project has earned a spot for SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, on the 2009 InformationWeek 500 list. The SAS Global Client Standard Environment project won the honor for significantly reducing the effort required of local IT staff to develop and manage their own software images.

SAS has been ranked as one of the top employers in information technology by Computerworld magazine. Computerworld's annual "Best Places to Work in IT" feature ranks the top 100 work environments for technology professionals. SAS is listed at number 19 in this year's survey.
